What is GENARIUM?

Genarium belongs to the group of so-called fun genetics or genetic geography. This test is based on analysis of yours DNA. Based on this analysis and scientific knowledge, we are able to find your DNA haplogroup to determine which maternal (GENARIUM MATER) or paternal line (GENARIUM PATER) you belong to. It is revealing your ancestral DNA.

DNA Haplogroup

The resulting haplogroup tells you where your ancestor come from, where the haplogroup was moving in the past and where it is today. Part of test results is access to our password-protected websites, where you can learn more about your final haplogroup (model page). These results are based on scientific knowledge for fun a give you the opportunity to learn things about yourself, which can not be detected in any other way. Consequently, the result should not be usable primarily for medical or other purposes.

What you can find out

You will discover your genetic origin in a deep history thousands years back. Predicted location of your haplogroup and its further spread around the world. You can find which famous person share the same haplogroup as you, and so what is your common forerunner.

What  you can not find out

You will not find which country or nationality your ancestor was. Jewish or other national roots can also not be clearly identified.
